Women Wine & Equine

Welcome to Women, Wine and Equine!

When you are at the end of your equestrian knowledge you get frustrated. This is a group we started to fill the gaps in horse knowledge while you get to know your fellow enthusiast over a glass of wine or your choice of refreshment. This is a no pressure group where you can ask any crazy question to your instructor and even requests class topics on things that strike your fancy!  We will be covering topics from “ground work” to “leg wraps” to “saddle fitting” to “what judges look for” to “ why on earth is everyone yelling heel down???”

While this is not part of our Ladies Drill Team we do go over maneuvers as drill requires a combination of precise control and tolerating a stimulating environment for both the horse and rider. It’s a simple way to ferret out the gaps in training so the instructors know what portions of the clinic to put more emphasis on.

Each camp will have a Saturday ride session as well as ground training and topics commonly missed in day to day lessons/barn life. Please bring a bagged lunch for Saturday as well as wine and any other refreshments you wish. Side note wine is only for after riding portion!

We would also like to take these classes as an opportunity to empower our clients. Our wonderful trainers are all strong women with can do attitudes that have hauled and shown in the horse industry on their own. They can hopefully take any fear of the unknown and help you conquer it.  There is nothing you can’t do with the right attitude and support.

We discourage the youngsters from this class as most of these topics will be in depth and geared to the adult enthusiast.  That said if you have a very mature teen you are welcome to let them interview to be part of the class. They will be admitted by trainer discretion but if they are a distraction they will be dismissed from the class. This time is devoted to our mature clients seeking to educate themselves to either be able to assist their kids at shows or just to better themselves for their own adventure in the horse world.

Please come join us! Email BansheeRanchContact@gmail.com for more details or to sign up.

Cost: 125$ (different pricing for the larger clinics)

The outline is roughly followed and learning is paced to each group.

These clinics will repeat every year and go more in depth depending on the level of our group. Don’t worry if you feel like your not catching every detail. There will be review and repetition not to mention you can always take a private lesson to get to your desired level.

Please click the month or subject you are interested in to be directed to that clinic.
